Focusrite Scarlett Solo (2nd Gen) USB Audio Interface with Pro Tools | First

    • The preamps are decent, cant hear much difference between it and units that cost 7X - no wonder why it's the best selling interface on the market (cant go wrong)
    • The Focusrite preamps are much quieter than the Behringer
    • The pros of this interface are as follows:- Absolutely amazing mic preamps
    • Nice sounding quiet preamps, the unit looks and feels more solid, the sample rate goes up to 192kHz which is welcomed since I do my field recordings at the same sample rate and this allows me to process/edit my sounds in Izotope RX4 and Ableton Live 9
    • the preamps on this Focusrite interface sound almost as good as the ones in my current interface
    • Decent preamps, full of useful features, works seamlessly with Logic.
    • Very clean preamps
    • Works well with Logic Pro X, very good quality and preamps
    • As you can tell it is super versatile, taking in either two mics (with great sounding mic preamps I might add), or plugging in directly with a guitar (The unit will take XLR or ¼“ instrument cables).
    • they are truly plug and play and the preamps in them are very clean for what youre paying for.
    • working nice and perfect! very high quality preamps and crystal clear
    • Preamps are also very clean and my recordings have definitely inproved
    • Superb preamps, smooth knobs, and crystal clear audio
    • Works out of the box on my Win, Mac and Linux boxes as simple plug and play (did download Win drivers as in the instructions though)
    • Perfect for simple people like my self as well as for professionals too
    • The only thing I really have to compare this to is an older Avid M-box (also USB) that my brother got
    • The Focusrite is as good as the M-Box.
    • I have been using an M-Audio Fast track for years, and figured an interface is an interface
