Fossil Q Grant Gen 1 Hybrid Stainless Steel Smartwatch

    • This reminds me of the long term hybridization of GPS units, phones and MP3 players into a single coherent device containing the best features of its predecessors.
    • The smart features has been a frustrating experience for me, and it looks like I'm not alone
    • If you look at it as a chronograph with added smart watch features (which, really, it is) the watch is something off a bargain
    • The smart watch side is not as well done, not as fully featured, in large part because it does not run android wear but a Fossil app.
    • I think many people will be surely be satisfied by the looks of this watch, no arguments there, but when it comes to the smart features, there will be a split response.
    • The Fossil Q Grant is a hybrid watch - mainly being a traditional watch, with smart features being secondary... and I really mean SECONDARY - more of a bonus side-thought
    • It's a nice simplistic inconspicuous approach to smart features and is actually a great idea, but it still needs improving
    • As for the smart features, this watch will count steps and calories.
    • The alerts feature is probably my favorite feature about this watch
    • Not a ton of super useful features in the app
    • However, it seems the "Smart features" is just not entirely ready yet, or at least very
