There are a few niggles (the lack of any date display in particular) that I'm not a fan of, but they're on the whole very small complaints

My main issue with the watch is the lack of a backlight.

The lack of a second hand is unfortunate, but this is more of a personal preference thing (many nice watches don't have one)

If it had a backlight that I could manually turn on (with maybe a three second feature where it turned off automatically to save battery power), I could overlook some of the other shortfalls, but the lack of a backlight is an issue that will keep this from being on my wrist on a daily basis.
