Four free channels is better than 100 expensive channels, most you don't watch.

We have three tvs running on it and all three received 51 clear channels from as far away as 50 miles

Ok, some are in another language and some are duplicates, but when you boil it down, we still get a few dozen channels.

Hearing that, I went and unplugged the power that is connected to the antenna and at that point rescanned for channels and behold, I was able to receive all channels available, crystal clear, and had the strongest signal for each channel as indicated on the screen

This antenna picks up a total of 40 area channels/sub-channels from the Western New York area and Toronto area on a very good day, a total of at least 32 on a stormy wintry evening, with no signal loss under those stormy wintry conditions from several of the stronger signal channels from Toronto Ontario.

Atmospheric conditions pixelate or wipe out a couple of the weaker channels during the day, but, other than that all is well.

I am 65 miles from city stations and was able to get 5 bars of signal on every available channel but one!I mounted it on a 40 ft tower, did some minor fine tuning by adjusting the aim, and the result is excellent HD picture quality.

My favorite channels 10.3 and 25.2 would come in and out and was pretty much unwatchable

I started off with a small, cheap-o omni-directional antenna that picked up a whole lot of useless channels and gave me the important ones in grainy, temperamental reception

New York City's metro area may not be the best for free TV but this unit will deliver 23 crisp clean HDTV channels in English (including several public TV stations), probably another 4 channels in Chinese, and 10 in Spanish

All local channels came in very clear and strong, couldn't detect a difference other than audio volume, but the picture was equal to Xfinity.
