• Reviews around jason (1.98 of 5)

Friday The 13th: The Game - PlayStation 4 Edition

    • It's best to work as a team if you decide to escape or try to kill Jason (this is where it's important to use a mic)
    • Love playing as Jason
    • Jason is really good, but he is beatable if you work as a team and try to escape before (a) everyone else is dead or (b) he gets his rage ability
    • The counselors are trying to work together (or not) to "escape" from a location such as Crystal Lake, while Jason is trying to kill them.
    • Each game you can do different things and different ways to escape or kill as jason
    • As a counselor, you have the option of trying to escape (car, boat, or cops), surviving the entire 20-minute match, or even killing Jason himself
    • Even "good Jason players" can usually only manage to kill a few of the other players as they spam health packs and jump in and out of windows ad naseum
    • scary Jason ( controlled by another online player)
    • Jason should be buffed again, host migration needs to be addressed, Jason weapon change implemented, and new ways to kill Jason would be awesome.
    • is super cheapYou can play the game offline with bots and that too is horrid playing as Jason isn't fun by any meansNo matter if you play the game online or offline both versions have major bugsThe game feels like it's running in slow motion 1/2 the timeThe VR Cabin is only a extra to pad out what a shallow game it isYou can walk around a Cabin that has various props with info regarding the entire Friday the 13th SeriesWhich will do nothing for any hardcore FT13
    • Jason can only grab people but cannot kill them, characters suddenly cannot open doors or do anything except walk or run.
    • The Jason's are phenomenal, the superpowers that Jason has make him almost god like and super creepy
    • I think most players will spend a good bit of time getting picked off as a counselor or being a "crappy Jason" before they get halfway decent
    • Your options include finding parts to repair and espcape in a car or boat, repairing the phone box to call the police and escape when they arrive, avoid being killed within the 20 minute time limit, or killing Jason
    • Try your best to survive the night because Jason is lurking
    • Once you get good, you can up the challenge by trying to help other counselors escape or killing Jason, but playing the hero is risky
    • Jason is pretty daunting to play, I played him about eight time thus
    • Although playing Jason himself is cool, basically all he does is go around the level killing a bunch of camp counselor bots whose AI is absolutely unrealistic and goofy acting
    • There's plenty of glitches where Jason gets broken, as in he will fall off the map, or lose the ability to attack or do his special kills, or he can still get hit and flung off the map
    • But just like in the movies, Jason can teleport and shift to catch up with his fleeing prey
    • ever play friends online or offline plus different ways to kill the camp councilors and the can kill Jason
    • and I returned this as fast as I bought it.
    • For a game mostly aimed at Online Play it's bottom of the barrel badIt's as though these guys developed a game in 1999-2000 and released it nowAs thrown together and manic as the Original NES Version of Friday the 13th the game
