Running the lastest firmware I think it was 3.10 at the time of this writing (1/29/14) the camera had good focus speed with the 14mm, 35mm and 60mm lenses

This is not possible (it is possible to set a fixed shutter speed and let the ISO vary).Shutter lag is minimal--not DSLR-quick, but much faster than p&s cameras

AF speed isn't terribly fast but has proven to be very accurate even shooting at f/1.4.
