Fujifilm X-T20 Mirrorless Digital Camera w/XF18-55mmF2.8-4.0 R LM OIS Lens - Black

    • Otherwise it has a great kit lens, very nice menu.
    • The images are on par with those I would take with my 5Dii and a very good prime lens
    • the lens is pretty good for a Kit lens.
    • - The 18-55 lens is better than your average kit lens
    • The real benefit to Fuji is access to the best, modern APS-C lens lineup, but unfortunately they're really pricey
    • Again, on par with what I can get with a great prime lens
    • Oh, and I have the 60mm pseudo macro, which is actually quite a good lens though noisy and sometimes slow to focus.
    • Also, I found that with some cameras a reviewer will give it a great review but note that the kit lens is terrible and you need to spend another >$800 on a decent lens to actually take advantage of the camera
    • The kit lens included in this is honestly a great lens, but the desire to buy many lenses will keep up if you shoot long enough; every lens has its strengths and weaknesses
    • Oh, and I have the 60mm pseudo macro, which is actually quite a good lens though noisy and sometimes slow to focus.
    • I previously tried the Panasonic G85 (poor autofocus in video and expensive lenses), the Sony A6300 (confusing menus, slow operation, and few quality lenses), and the Canon M5 (poor image quality and lens selection) and did ultimately did not like the cameras
    • so I decided it was time to return to an ILC to get the benefits of a larger sensor and better lens
    • And that lens absolutely will fit xt2 better
    • * Wow, I am completely blown away by the image quality coming out of this camera with the 18-55 kit lens (the more expensive one)
    • Even if you don't care about cost and get a nice Fuji lens lineup you'll by all means be able to make some great images, but full frame still offers more in most situations - I find the retro controls to be a slight negative
    • * Wow, I am completely blown away by the image quality coming out of this camera with the 18-55 kit lens (the more expensive one)
    • I especially love using the focus ring of the kit lens as an aperture dial and the endless button customization options
