I previously tried the Panasonic G85 (poor autofocus in video and expensive lenses), the Sony A6300 (confusing menus, slow operation, and few quality lenses), and the Canon M5 (poor image quality and lens selection) and did ultimately did not like the cameras

but I always had this creeping disappointment that these great events in my life were being recorded in very poor quality that already looked unsharp and dated

High resolution shooting at good quality = high quality print outs, for us curmudgeons who still like those things.7
