    Fujinon XF35mmF2 R WR - Black

    • The only real advantage I see so far is faster focus acquisition
    • : the size is small, it's lightweight, the aperture ring has just the right amount of friction, and the focusing is buttery smooth
    • Super compact, fast focus, extremely sharp
    • Oh, and the focus is even faster than his 27mm that got stolen
    • Manual focusing is smooth with enough travel to keep from being fussy with just the right amount of resistance to keep from being easily knocked out of focus.
    • Weather resistant with sharper photos and fast focus.
    • Super sharp, fast focus & built quality is top notch
    • Fast focus, light, compact and inexpensive
    • Small, fast focusing, and Weather sealed, and a perfect match up for the x pro 2.
    • The manual focus was initially terrible, but received a decent upgrade with firmware version 1.01
    • Incredibly sharp lens, very fast focusing, very light
    • Incredibly sharp lens, very fast focusing, very light
    • The focus is indeed faster than the older 35mm f1.4 on an x-t1.
    • The aperature and focus ring are much more satisfying to use over the 18-135, but i still dislike manually focusing in video.

    • Considering the tiny size of the lens, I'd be surprised if the 35mm F2 ISN'T one of the fastest focusing XF lenses available
    • Quiet, sure focusing, light, and unobtrusive.
    • The only difference between this mode and CF mode is when you half press the shutter button it will beep when focus is confirmed as opposed to CF mode that there is no beeping
    • Fairly silent and super fast focusing.
    • The focus is fast and silent
    • Amazing Clarity, ultra fast focusing and great low light performance with minimal noise

    • Compact, fast focus, sharp
    • Easy quick focusing
    • Great Lens, Excellent quality, Fast focus
    • I don't like motorized manual focus, and I hate the lack of a depth of field scale on a prime lens of this quality.
    • Focus is nice and peppy!
    • AF focus is slightly faster than the 1.4 in good light
    • However, I don't think the image quality is quite as good as the f/1.4 version (perhaps less microcontrast?), and I was hoping the focus would be a bit quicker than it is
    • Stopping down seems to help, but it is nowhere near as sharp as the 35mm f/1.4
    • It's compact and lightweight, has a durable metal construction, it'sweather sealed, sharp as a tac with creamy bokeh at f/2, silent, fast, and accurate autofocus, and is half the cost of its f/1.4 cousin that lacks in almost everything I just mentioned

    • I have played with my friend's 35mm f/1.4 and there is no doubt that it is an amazing lens, but this f/2 version blows it out of the water in terms of focus speed and almost no audible noise
