    Fujinon XF35mmF2 R WR - Black

    • It makes the 27mm seem like a mud lens.
    • I love the square metal hood for the 35mm f1.4 and the 18mm f/2, and I wish they continued that trend with all their lenses.
    • The fact that it's not as fast as the 23mm or 56mm doesn't bother me
    • The smallest non-pancake lens I've ever owned was Canon's nifty-fifty (50mm f1.8)
    • it's not sharp as 35mm 1.4 at same aperture of 2.0 2
    • This is the perfect 50mm equiv
    • This lens is great, especially if you love the 35mm F1.4 but really want something weather proof for those bleh days
    • But this newer 35mm is definitely sharper at all apertures at longer ranges
    • 23mm is an improvement, but the 35mm F2 feels even better
    • I never thought my 23mm was all that hefty, but the 35mm F2 is easily half the overall mass
    • The "special look and rendering" of the older Fuji 35 f/1.4 is completely retained in this XF35mmF2 R WR optic, and the sharpness is on par with the superb Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro lens
    • I had and loved the 35mm 1.4
    • I'd say look to a nice wide angle lens like the 14mm, 16mm or 16-55mm
    • I'm a BIG fan of the classic 50mm prime
    • Stopping down seems to help, but it is nowhere near as sharp as the 35mm f/1.4
    • I love the 35mm
    • This beauty takes sharp photos, perhaps not as sharp as the original XF 35mm version, with excellent color rendition
    • The 16mm and 18-135MM have both done well in this
    • It is not as sharp as 16mm 1.4 don't even expect that sharpness, definitely you can notice haze/softness notice but not to the level of annoyment
    • After using the Fuji 35mm f/1.4 for several months on an XT-1, and marveling at its' sharpness, clarity, and image rendition (albeit not super-fast AF), I was excited to try the newer, Weather-Resistant f/2 version
