Adobe Acrobat 9 works very well, however the ScanSnap Organizer software has much room for improvement

The OCR software that comes with the scanner works well in some documents and not so well and others, so the jury is still out on that until I have more experience using it.

And the ScanSnap software works very well for importing into Evernote.
