Even if it isn't used to hack the Vita, it's still definitely worth the cost when compared to Sony's proprietary memory cards going for $

It helps save you tons of cash on storage, as Sony charges extortionate amounts of money for their proprietary memory cards

but now I dont have to buy one of the proprietary cards which are still kind of pricey

I used a samsung U3 card and works perfectly.

I had issues with my device recognizing the SD card originally

The card worked great but upon removing the sd card from it once the device would no longer accept the card and had broken

This goes in place of the game card NOT where the proprietary Sony memory card goes

The microSD card I purchased to go with this product was easy to slot in and it was immediately recognized by my PS Vita after following the steps to use it with the SD2Vita software

It's great that I can use a 256GB SD card rather than expensive official Vita memory cards, which aren't even available at that sort of size

If that wasn't enough the card also came dirty, as if it was used, despite being sold as new

Overall the amount of time I spent working on this was worth it versus shelling out almost 200 for half the gb with proprietary cards.

As for the card itself, no complaints

One thing to note is the SD card will be a little stiff

but since I like the speed of placing the Micro SD card directly into a reader, I have to go through the annoying process of taking this out if I want to do that again

It fit perfectly, and the card was readable by the Vita

i was able to use a micro sd card instead of the super expensive proprietary cards!

I am using a 64gb scan disk micro as card and works perfect.

It didn't it broke my brand new 128gb SD card

When the 2nd one came in it was all damaged and my SD Card couldn't fit in it, nearly breaking the SD Card

Also, Sony’s memory cards are fairly prone to corruption from what I’ve seen, and it more or less renders your overly-expensive memory card worthless

My vita is now using a $19, 128gb micro sd as opposed to paying $70+ for a 64gb Sony proprietary card.

No more proprietary Vita memory cards that are literally worth their weight in gold, now I have 256gb of storage for under $30(sd2vita + 256micro sd card)

but it's way better than buying the vitas proprietary memory card.

Simple to set up and is so much more cost effective than purchasing the overpriced sony memory cards.

It is a great alternative away from those expensive Sony memory cards and yes, you do have to install custom firmware like Henkaku for the device to work

Sony can eat a bag of male genitalia for implementing proprietary storage cards

That said, this is the way to go if you want to save money on the now extremely expensive Vita-exclusive format memory cards.

I would say this is a must for people with a modded device, as the proprietary memory cards are too expensive

Worked great with the correct SD card

I added a 512gb SD card and boom all my favorite stuff there

Took a minute to get it working after I accidentally erased my memory card (nothing important on it at least)

The SD card inserted a little weird, but I didn't know that wasn't normal

I would recommend that you search for a tutorial that guides you to downloading the software that will setup the card to work as external or main memory card

Mostly likely the adapter is like this, do not try to remove your sd card, I have broken my sd card when removing it.
