It's the perfect size for our space, and, for a fairly inexpensive bookshelf, it looks pretty nice.

I like the bookshelf as a whole

At first I loved this bookshelf, but when after putting children's books on the bottom two shelves tried to shift it a couple inches to the left.. and it shattered

It is okay for what it is -- an inexpensive bookshelf

A good quality piece of furniture would be able to withstand a little movement (such as the sturdy 20-year-old bookshelves from my mother that I have rearranged multiple times with books still on the shelves).
