At appropriate levels there is no noise

This is comparable to the SMSL M3 and is a very nice entry level desktop DAC/Amp.

The manufacturer must have skimped on the audio components big time because the sound on the very same headphones is hollow, tinny, harsh and promotes insane levels of listening fatigue
