if the phone does fall onto its screen, it offers NO shock protection .for the screen, only the back and sides (barely).My advice is ttry for the better cases that cost only $1-2

Case arrived defective, it's bent at the charger port and doesn't fully fit on the phone, the phone is left lifted off the case towards the bottom

but nope, the case had minimal scratches and the screen was perfect as ever
