Touch is transferred better with this case, but I did still apply a tempered glass screen protector under the case since I did not feel the case itself offered great protection for the front of the phone

In short, I'm a fussy phone person like.many of you, and while the case body is great with an excellent feel, good protection and a cool military look, the screen protector is a deal breaker for me

Protection for the phone feels very sturdy (as it should), and rubberized housing helps to keep it comfortably in my pocket without slipping

And it did not provide enough protection as the back of my phone is now shattered.

of course, the very first thing i did was remove the flimsy integrated plastic screen protector with the aid of my exacto knife, since i keep tempered glass screen protectors on my devices, but the first impression of this case is solid protection roughly equivalent to that provided by otterbox commuter series but without the bulk or price tag associated with them.
