I like the strap too.

And if you're only going to be gone a few minutes; run right in and right back out of the store, it has a place for cash and change as well as drivers license, credit and debit cards and a convenient wrist strap so you don't have to lug a heavy purse around if you're only going out to pick up a couple of items

Strap is optional and I love it as it has prevented me from dropping my phone several times
