Well, all the reviews for every glass screen protector for this phone were terrible, and several companies recalled their product

Good product bad reviews are from people who do not know how to apply a screen protector

There is no way this item has an overall 4 star review, the other positive reviews must've been made by the company.

But I bought a brand new phone and there weren't any good reviews on any protectors available on Amazon

However, this is not the reason I am leaving the poor review

It seems that no one could design a good solution for the curved screen, so most companies have resorted to passing off sub-par glass protectors (even posting fake reviews to boost ratings) in the hopes that most consumers won't bother to return it

So I started looking at film screen protectors and found a few with excellent reviews and went with these guys

While researching all the available tempered glass and hard "plastic" screen protectors I determined that most of the negative reviews were justified, mostly because of the easy shattering of the curved, tempered glass screen protector and/or the phone's screen itself, and the "floating" of the curved tempered glass and plastic screen protector when using hard cases, due to the fact that most curved, tempered glass screen protectors have adhesive only on the edges

I ordered this brand and this protector because I have used the brand before and it proved to be good and the reviews for this particular protector weren't bad

I have used multiple glass protectors with great reviews and they just don’t work on the S8 curved screen

, no cloudiness***I think the negative reviews on this are because they either didn't follow the directions properly, or they were impatient with the cleaning of the phone/curing time and ended up causing it to peel off

We bought some of those "glass protectors" (the ones with all the phony reviews, before realizing they were all phony), none would stay attached to the phone, 1st one fell off within a couple days, the 2nd one fell off just as quickly but hit a concrete floor

The other protector had similar reviews, but did not work for me since it was not compatible with my phone case, and the edges would not stay secure, even though it was supposed to be case friendly.

If the bubbles do go away and it still works with my Otterbox Commuter case, I'll bump the review up to 5

Make sure you follow the directions closely before installing to prevent issues other reviews have experienced such as bubbling.

Many of the negative reviews surround applying the protector but my guess is that these individuals did not follow the directions

but I returned it because of negative reviews and the fact that only the sides have adhesive

So I looked on amazon to find a good screen protector and this one was one with better reviews, so it got it

I'm so disappointed I bought this cuz of all the good reviews

Other reviews have recommended using tweezers to peel the film off the backing material

Put it on my phone this morning as I work nights so that it would be ready for work

now i didnt notice until installation i wasnt even going to bother i was going to use it
