No noise, no flickering, no disturbances, just clean and sharp picture

I did compare this cable to the OEM composite A/V cable, and the S-Video clearly provides a sharper picture with higher color contrast.

It does provide a noticeably better picture on my old retro gaming CRT than composite and I recommend it.

The picture with S Video is a massive improvement over the composite cable I had for my SNES

(AKA: at my relative's house), and when I plugged it in with composite cables (Red, Yellow, White), the picture was dark and murky.

Picture is much clearer and doesnt receive interference.

The only better picture possible for the GameCube are component cables that will run you like $250

This is the cheapest legit S-video cable if you don't wanna fork out $70-100 for a Monster brand one & s-video is the best quality picture you'll get on your HDTV if you aren't wanting to spend $250-300 on a rare Gamecube component cable.

This item really improved the graphics quality of my game console, before I used the stock one that came with it when I purchased it and used to think that the units graphics quality of the unit was not so good, but now the same console hooked up to the same TV but using this S-Video cable made a huge improvement in picture quality and clarity, really makes gameplay more enjoyable and with less feeling of eye strain, fatigue or even head aches that you may get from playing for too long
