GameSir G3w Wired PC Controller for Windows 10/8.1/8/7 / Android / PS3 / Steam Dual Shock Game Gamepad

    • Has some of the nicest sticks I've used on a controller in years with a very firm indent that fits thumbs nicely.
    • Had the same issue with a much more pricey 3rd party PS3 controller back in the day: great build quality, solid buttons... but analog sticks with deadzones for days so much that they were nigh unusable
    • the right analog stick doesn't light up and the left one only partially lights up.
    • Right joy stick didn't work
    • it feels great on the hands... but bad joy sticks, not that they feel bad, but the sensitivity is bad, it's fixed unlike xbox controllers.
    • I prefer the ergonomics of the g3w, but i'd personally take the more accurate analog sticks of the f310 over the ergonomic improvements of the
    • The player indicator lights at the bottom also are so bright they unevenly illuminate the left analog stick... again, not enough to dock a
    • Also one more small bonus for me personally..... the thumbstick pads have almost identical dimensions as the sticks on an xbox one controller
    • The LED under the right stick is burned out on both controllers I purchased
    • I bought this after purchasing two of my wired Xbox 360 controllers started having problems (left bumper not registering, joy stick sticking)
    • , the analog sticks work great and without much of a dead zone (actually much better to the touch than the PS4's though about the same to the Xbox One's), and in regard to the inputs, my only gripe is the d-pad, how it frequently registers, for example, a top and side press if you only intend to press the top
    • I use it primarily just for American Truck Simulator while waiting to afford a wheel and I can say the biggest problem with the controller for ANY GAME is the sticks
    • (some knockoff controllers have sticks that only work in the cardinal directions, so FPS games become impossible
    • The controller looks nice, fits nice in your hand, and the buttons feel great... but this is nearly worthless due to the terrible analog sticks
    • However right stick is not sensitive enough for first person shooters

    • Attempted to play skyrim and the game wouldn't detect the b, x, or right stick press
    • Inaccurate jog sticks
    • They brag the controller lights up but the right stick is entirely dark
    • and I don't like that all the buttons and controls have lights in them except the right stick, why the left stick and not the right
    • I'm likely going to return mine because of the problems I've mentioned, it feels like it could be defective, the unlit right analog stick being evidence of that.
    • The face buttons feel okay, the sticks feel a bit hollow if that makes sense but they do the job Triggers are pretty dang good and are
    • For instance games that require steady aim or precision the sticks are too stiff and fail in that regard
    • In 2 weeks the right stick got stuck
    • but I looked into it and the right stick isn't supposed to light up for some reason... odd.
    • The sticks themselves feel well-produced but, for me personally, they benefit a lot from silicone stick grips (they raise the height and overall
    • Now for movement you're fine (left stick) but for aiming, expect to have very sharp to extreme pulling whenever you're aiming and or switching targets
    • The only odd thing I noticed about its build is that the left analog stick, the red light inside is inconsistent; sometimes it's much brighter than the right stick, sometimes part of the see-through piece is brighter than the rest and it depends on where the stick is being pointed
    • They brag the controller lights up but the right stick is entirely dark
    • You can tell that build quality is marginal, and 3/4 LED’s under the joysticks were burned out when i opened it, but for the price I can’t complain

    • Keep in mind that this is a mini usb connected device with a permanently attached 20 inch cord coming from the back of the controller to end with a male mini USB & with an additional 5 ft cord with a male USB on one end & a female mini USB on the other for connecting to a PC.I have an LG V20 with a C connector that it will not work on, although I tried to use a female mini USB to a male C connector adapter that didnt work
    • My biggest gripe is that My mobile device is a USB-C and this did not work through the adapter when plugged in
