Also the spring is not hard enough to secure the unit on the belt, this could be very dangerous for difficult hiking trails and in fast movements

If I depended on this clip to keep my unit available to me lives (including mine) could be lost (along with a $500 dollar GPS)

The unit works but ... you are going to want some "extras" $$$.
