Excellent unit

Since both units I bought have this problem I suspect it is a systemic hardware fault

All that aside - it is a very good unit .

My unit came dead and it took an overnight charge to be able to use it

I'm buying a TomTom and giving this to someone who can't afford a GPS unit.

Pretty good unit, although my old Garmin was more accurate on arrival tome for a trip, haven't been able to figure out how to adjust the new one yet...

I have just completed two trips totaling about 3500 miles and found this unit to generally be quite good

Battery dead when I received the unit charged the battery turned off unit two days later battery dead note did not use tech support

it's not the most road-friendly unit, and mine is going back to Best Buy.

The unit is extremely user friendly, the screen is easy to read in all lighting conditions, the volume was fully adjustable and I only cranked it up to 3/4...plenty loud

This unit is definitely very slow in calculating route

In conclusion, this unit should be more capable and user-friendly at this price

I prefer a GPS unit rather than my phone, because I like the visuals, and the phone GPS apps I've tried weren't cutting it for me.

This unit worked exceptionally well for 8 days while connected blue tooth to my IPhone going from Delaware to Florida, but died on the trip half way back coming back from Florida
