It has a very accurate GPS, links with my phone via Bluetooth, gives live elevation

The trail is marked with quarter-mile posts, surveyed by the railroad, I presume, or someone with GOOD GPS

We have a tight twisty trail here... even the better GPS units (actually better and cheap show about the same) show it at about 5.2 to 5.4... it's actually 7.1 ---
