This watch is a good product, but when i received it i have had that reset because this watch freezes when the alarm is activated in the morning.

We did a hard reset and that still didn't work.

The way that I fixed the problem is the following:I thoroughly cleaned the watch connections with alcohol and a toothbrush and completed a hard reset.

I need to do a hard reset, at the beggining the watch doesn't work

I get the same runaround telling me to update the software, perform a hard reset of the watch (As if I haven't already done these steps ad nauseam)

I reached out to Garmin support and they sent an email back to update the software (which I had done already when it first failed a few months) or do a hard reset, which I had done already

So far Garmin Support's advice has been to install updates and do a hard reset.

I get corrupt data files from crashes during work outs about once ever month, and about once every 2-3 months I have to do a hard reset where I have to reset the watch to factory default to get it to work.

When you make it charge again after a hard reset, it charges only from a notebook and not a powerbank
