    Garmin fenix 2 GPS Watch

    • Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to try everything out and test to see if it had fixed it (which would have involved going for a 4-5 hour run) before my marathon
    • Features worked half the time, and now the vibration feature doesn't work anymore, and the features are a miss
    • I love the looks of this watch and when it is working it is great, unfortunately it is very unreliable at the most important times.
    • For example, I forgot to click my Start/Stop button at the right times during my triathlon (my fault) so the time was messed up
    • If Casio can charge their watches from sunlight or other light sources why not Garmin?I do not need anything fancy in the watch like seeing my incoming calls or text messages ( that is an Apple thing :) ), I need longer battery life with GPS and HR monitor on, I need accurate distance keeping, altitude keeping and accurate time keeping over the distances I run.
    • + just a couple of months ago) to have a different model sent and not waste any more vital time during my marathon training
    • I have had this watch for maybe 6 months now, it crashes all the time
    • I'm warning all of you, do not waste time or money with Garmin products.
    • I go on my activities, but in the end, I still have to carry my iphone with me since this watch limits the functionality of the software, and lets face it, the iphone never crashes and works how I expect, every time.
    • They promise a three day turnaround time, and I got my response 8 days later from someone who obviously did not read my message
    • I got a "Track Archive Error" the third time I tried to log a hike
    • I have crashed so hard and banged the hell out of this thing on rocks several times, causing scratches,
    • Issues encountered include:- Unit shutting off at odd times (like pressing the stop button to stop an activity).- Unit freezing up completely in the middle of a hike, then correcting itself an hour
    • Every time fails and the watch turns off
    • I has some troubles setting the right time in Venezuela but isn't Garmin foul
    • I AM WASTING MY TIME , because I already lost my money , but I hope help someone to avoid this model
    • , I had the 305 and 310xt and never had a problem with them, since the august with the software update any single time that i used it the watch it reboot itself, doesn't sincronize anymore, I had enough patience and try everything that I've found in google, youtube, garmin.com, and is simple, Doesn't work
    • For example, I forgot to click my Start/Stop button at the right times during my triathlon (my fault) so the time was messed up
    • Still trying to figure out what is going on, but sometimes the time is completely incorrect.- Occasionally locks up when trying to view history.- Doesn’t support separate heart rate zones for running vs. biking (910XT does).- Won’t sync heart rate zones with Garmin
    • GPS track is really off route, hard time to calibrate compass and make it work properly.
    • Features worked half the time, and now the vibration feature doesn't work anymore, and the features are a miss
    • As I don't have the HRM Premium strap, I miss the vertical oscillation and the ground contact time, but the cadence works fine and it is useful for improving running tecnique
    • and it froze up on me several times
    • Based on reviews I should have never wasted my time with this watch but decided against my better judgement.
    • It is much slower ( several times less throughput in terms of processing ) as compared to Forerunner 610XT
    • This is my third different model of garmin gps watches, and it is by far the worst and most probable the last time I buy a Garmin Watch
    • It does exactly what a GPS watch is supposed to do (and more)The Cons:-Finding satellites take a long time
    • The display does not "refresh" with the correct time
    • Perhaps 4th time's a charm?
    • Two years of use, maybe a few dozen + times, dead in the water - from disuse?
    • In fact that is the only time it's easy to read
    • had other Garmin Forerunner watches, and they are much better than this.- Reports incorrect elapsed time.
    • The info and analytics are great and very useful to keep improving my resistance and times
    • I get compliments on it all the time but takes forever to link up to satellites
    • Despite returning the unit for a warranty replacement multiple times the unit continues to suffer from a "low memory error" which can cause the unit to crash and become unresponsive.
    • n’t work
