I like my Garmin!

I love my Garmin.

So I decide to spend $200 to buy the Garmin watch that will work with the foot pod

It synchronizes easily to each of the GPS watches that my husband uses (although he tends to favor his Garmin 210).I can't speak to its capabilities with other GPS watches or treadmill connections; but with my husband's Garmin 210, there is not real-time cadence information offered as a display on the watch.

The third run was outdoors and on a standard track in lovely weather conditions; truly I was looking forward to this run and all the wonderful data my foot pod was going to be sending to the nicely designed Garmin Connect web interface

Garmin doesn't do everything perfectly (I'm annoyed with the way they're pushing Connect these days) but this outstandingly robust foot pod is quite an achievement.

Garmin was kind enough to replace the clip

Garmin has been extremely helpful in getting it calibrated to the FR60.

Works as advertised, though I must admit after using it with several apps and other devices, Garmin takes the most advantage of the data it can provide.

I actually broke the little plastic carriage and Garmin gladly sent me replacements for free.

Pairs easily with your Garmin, easy to calibrate, attaches securely and easily to your shoe

In the times when Garmin 610 looses GPS signal it's the footpod that calculates the distance traveled

I then have it sync with my "free" Garmin Connect account

So, Garmin has made this sensor completely useless to me.

I use this with my Garmin Forerunner 410 watch, which I totally love!

This is a great complement for every runner who owns a garmin or ant device compatible.

If it turns out this is a bug and Garmin corrects this, I will update back to 5 stars.

So somehow Garmin takes a known time, and a known number of steps, and converts it into a cadence value that is not accurate

The Garmin is useless for treadmill running without a foot pod.

Garmin has fixed this bug in the 4.4 firmware.

My son has the garmin watch with the GPS thing for races - this works on a treadmill

To complement my Garmin 610, now is possible to report the cadence for every lap and the media cadence of every workout

Works exactly as it is supposed to do

Fit perfectly in the special compartment of my MiCoach-compatible Adidas Marathon 10M running shoes, as well as on the shoelaces of my Adidas Kanadia all-terrain trainers.
