    Garmin Foot Pod [Retail Packaging]

    • It could also be useful if you run on different treadmills all the time that are calibrated differently, and you want a consistent (though probably not accurate) way of measuring distance and cadence
    • I only fell down once last year while running outside (at 5:00 AM in the dark on a bad sidewalk, a car was coming the other way) and the foot pod went flying off my shoe.
    • Just wish Garmin comes up with an option to know battery level of this little beauty e.g. LED, and also a way to fix it with shoes that do not have lace or under sole option, e.g. maybe on the heel.
    • It works the same, either way.
    • Accurate works well affordable way to keep track of your pace and distance
    • Accurate works well affordable way to keep track of your pace and distance
    • It has been running through sand, snow, mud, puddles, and — most impressively to me — through many hikes, including two hikes while training in the Marine Corps, as well as other long hikes (20+ mi) on my own involving tough scrambles and thick brush, and never showed any signs of budging off my boot (which frankly from the seemingly-cheap way it clips into its girdle around the lace would probably astound anyone about to use it for the first time, it seems like it would get pulled off no trouble).
    • To relieve this problem, I stick the foot pod deep down in the side, underneath the side flap that covers the tongue, and to keep it in place, I have to tie the shoe laces super extra tight, which is very uncomfortable, and not the way you want to run during marathon training
    • I initially though tthe way it attaches to your shoe laces was flaky, but we haven't ever had a problem with it.
    • I've been trying to learn to up my cadence while running and my mind always wanders, this is a great way to keep my focus on my fast feet
    • Really good way to track you indoors run...extremely accurate and easy to sync.
    • Love the easy way it can attach to the shoe laces and has yet to come
    • This foot pod offers an easy way of determining the rate of your regular running form so that you can work to make any adjustments in order to reach peak performance
    • The absolute best way to calibrate is to run a known distance (like a standard 400 meter track at a high school)
    • Works exactly as it is supposed to do
    • Fit perfectly in the special compartment of my MiCoach-compatible Adidas Marathon 10M running shoes, as well as on the shoelaces of my Adidas Kanadia all-terrain trainers.
    • Works as you expected!!
    • My Cadence as well as to do one-stop-shop when running on treadmills
    • Cons-Its a
