Garmin Forerunner 645 Music, GPS Running Watch with Garmin Pay Contactless Payments, Wrist-Based Heart Rate and Music, Black

    • The Garmin Android app needs some work, my biggest issue is you can't load music/podcasts to the watch directly the phone app (you need a windows computer), however the phone app doesn't cause problems tracking my runs
    • So I've been seeking the silver bullet combination of accurate run tracking along with music and although this is close
    • My favorite App is Trainning LOAD , basicly is a coach who is warning you week after week to add or decrese load to your program , and showing you the way to reach peaking form on race day .Also like the capability to add music , some long easy runs are boring ( not anymore with my playlist
    • Great running watch
    • I bought this Garmin Forerunner 645 along with my running dynamics pod and updated watch to 3.10 a few weeks ago and have been in love with the watch til last week when I updated a workout in Garmin App
    • so I had to go through the process of turning off my headphones, starting up the music (finding the controls mid run was not straightforward), then turning on in pairing mode, and I was “running” again
    • Serious running stats and training support (as long as you aren't doing a triathlon).
    • Paired with run dynamics pod, it yields tons of run data
    • (for running) than a Apple watch, but the 645 is great running watch, and I'm very happy with it.
    • went to the Forerunner 935 (excellent battery life, big watch, excellent running stats) and loved that watch but wanted music so swapped to the 645M as soon as it was released.
    • Lap tracking disabled, watch did a restart (shutdown) mid run, although not much was lost as it continued tracking from where it left off (didn't start a new run...), so was just annoying but not totally frustrating.
    • My favorite App is Trainning LOAD , basicly is a coach who is warning you week after week to add or decrese load to your program , and showing you the way to reach peaking form on race day .Also like the capability to add music , some long easy runs are boring ( not anymore with my playlist
    • While running, when my arm is bent, there is not an issue
    • I much rather move my music manually from the Garmin Express and I was actually able to purchase some nice running playlist in iTunes and without much effort, Garmin Express is able to connect to iTunes and very easily I can transfer the playlist into the watch this way.
    • I would have been very frustrated if I were out for a hard run, as it made me stop wait for green triangle screen to clear, restart music and make sure my run was still being tracked
    • Great running watch that has all the bells and whistles
    • - it tells how long you should wait before your next hard run
    • I had the Adidas Smartrun for 3 years until they dropped support (short battery life, music on phone, good running stats, wristHR, no smartwatch functions
    • HR is excellent during steady paced runs and it will follow my increased efforts well.
    • Accurate Run Tracking, ideally Strava capabilities as well.2
    • my biggest wish was for a watchface that was easily readable while running, and this is perfect!
    • Like the Pod it also began having issues displaying running dynamics data
