Pairing the idiot screen size with a silver bezel.

What I don't understand is why this supposed upgrade can't have a larger readable screen size.

the 645 non-music, after only one day because it is irritatingly too small (both in overall physical size and in readable screen size), the screen is difficult to see in daylight, the buttons are ergonomically awful, and the silver bezel is incredibly distracting and glare producing.

I really detest the vast empty ring of space between the bezel and the readable screen because it just screams "Look at how we screwed you over!

Oh, and that constant reminder of immense, glorious, screwing you over empty ring of space between the bezel and the readable screen.

First, it's the same moronic screen size with the giant ring of despair and emptiness around it.

Spoke to garmin and the screen shouldn’t be that bright when the backlight is off

At 1.2", it's actually slightly smaller than the 235 readable screen (although the 645 is a full circle, unlike the 235).

I wish the screen was a little brighter, not because you can't see the time, but just to show off some of the watch faces, which are a little dimmer than they should be.

The screen is very easy to read on a direct sun, and backlit helps in the dark conditions

Don't bother downloading any fancy data screens because to cram all the information on one screen requires making the fonts impossible to read while running.

Just a personal preference, but I like a rectangular screen better - easier to read

Setting aside the small screen and glare from the bezel, there was nothing particularly great about the brightness of the screen, indoors and out.

While not the "best" LCD screen indoor, it's super easy to read outdoors, where it matters.
