The main downside is that firmware updates (including bug fixes and new features) from Garmin will lag up to 6 months behind the ROW version

Very comfortable, great feature set and connectivity via Connect IQ

It will not be possible to update to the latest firmware if you get one of the non-US versions, so you will not be able to get the latest features and bug fixes available to US customers

and I am really enjoying all the fitness features
