What I like about the 2797:Screen size - Much easier to see info at a quick galance, very helpful for those that don't have 20/20

Large size makes it easy to program without "fat fingers".

Voice command lacks clarity, but over all I like the size and ease o use.

Overall I'm very happy with this GPS, great feature set, great screen size, I'm using nav voice activation and the bluetooth hands-free phone, would be 5 stars if not for the iffy 2nd turn voice alert.update after weeks of use:5 stars now, I've figured out why the 2nd alert appears iffy

7 in is a great size all around for information visibility and interface "touchability"

On the plus side: the screen is a good size, the clip on system is simple and reliable, the North American maps avoids the user to change maps when crossing borders.

This GPS stays in one car and doesn't get carried around so its size and weight aren't an issue for me.

Didn't pay enough attention, on purchasing, to the fact that it was the 7" size model and its LARGE size implications for car use.

I have a mid-sized sedan, and it does take up a decent sized chunk of space on the windshield.

However, I went with the 2597 and its 5" screen is about the perfect size for my application.
