This unit certainly makes it easier to view than the older smaller units.

This unit is like night and day.

My eyesight isn't what it use to be and this larger than normal unit is much easier to see.

The other unit was hard to press.

Heck, i even take this portable unit with me when i travel since i am so familiar and comfortable with the overall functioning of this unit; why aggravate myself with learning a new style GPS in a foreign environment.

The Garmin is simply the greatest unit I have ever used

During the marathon trip the unit continued to fall; I would have to pull off the interstate and try a new means of adhering it

quickly - sent me new unit (hope this one works out better) and I sent the dead unit back using Amazon's return UPS label

Overall, at two-months of use, I would say I like but do not love this unit

Luckily the unit is made very sturdy and is no worse for wear taking a few knocks

It's larger than most portable units, so if your car has built-in cameras (that warn you if you drift out of your lane), you need to put some thought into positioning it

We transfer the unit between several vehicles and it always worked great

Anyway, this unit is worthless to me unless I can get it to work with other maps.

But, with processors getting faster, screens getting larger, and prices coming down - not to mention lifetime map updates and traffic with no pop-up ads, I decided to upgradeThe Garmin 2797 is just a sweet unit.

This is a great unit , as advertised, I would have given 5 stars if it had speed camera warning, it does give school zone warning though

Thank goodness the window suction attachment is bigger, as the older smaller ones not hold this unit up.

I think this is one of the best automotive gps units on the market

The unit operates much like my five-inch 2450, with which I've been satisfied for the last two years or so, except for the battery running down so quickly when disconnected from a power source.

The unit has worked perfectly and is even more of a bargain with lifetime map updates and lifetime traffic service

The packer must be pulling the incorrect unit out of the bin as the charge does not fit the Garmin 2797.

This unit was obviously released untested and is still a work in progress.

Obviously, this unit has either hardware or software problems.

This piece of crap cost a lot of money, and its inability to perform cost me about $400 more in moving costs.+The unit "gets confused" easily, and will freeze, or lose the destination address.

I definitely do NOT recommend this unit for small cars, and I would say it's "iffy" even for larger cars.

This unit is so much faster with connecting to the satellites and I love the detail that is spoken when making a turn or staying on (or going to different) lanes on the freeway.
