Garmin vívoactive HR GPS Smart Watch, Regular fit - Black

    • This is a frustrating device, though apparently, I don't use it the way it's supposed to be used
    • I bought this device and immediately loved it
    • This is a great device!
    • I recently rinsed the watch off under water and must have hit the buttons, and water most likely seeped in and killed the device.
    • Under bright conditions, especially under sunlight, this device is SUPER readable.
    • The device has had a lot of firmware updates, but none of them have improved the reliability of the optical heart rate sensor
    • Easy: AMAZING GOOD DEVICE
    • So, for a wrist-worn device, this if phenomenal!
    • Unless you are seriously picky about every activity tracking or you need a full-featured smart watch, this would be a great device to have.
    • The device has potential, but as of January 2016 the software is not there for the device to be useful for my scenarios.
    • Suffice to say Garmin has nailed wearable smart devices
    • But I simply cannot recommend a device that has had so little quality control in their software.
    • Excited to receive it, I immediately charged the device and installed the update.
    • Yes, that app sucks, the the device is head and shoulders above fitbits
    • This device is very dim, but not hard to see.
    • The device is very capable, more capable than my fitbit charge
    • The device is quite chunky and the interface and screen feel dated
    • Otherwise this is a device for not only the serious athlete but for the novice as well.
    • Good community support and useful applications (though I had to uninstall all of them to improve device
    • This device is only sort of compatible with swimming
    • Lovely device, but pricey for what you get
    • Device worked well for a three months and then simply stopped working properly, refusing to sink with the smartphone application.
    • I would expect so much more from a watch touted as a swim device.
    • Fantastic device.
    • Unfortunately Pebble was sold to a fitness tracking company that chose to let Pebble wither and die; no longer supporting the device.
    • I have used this with both the heart rate strap and without, and this device is a waste of money
    • It is not the perfect fitness device as other reviews have stated.
    • excelent device, works very nice, looks better
    • excelent device, works very nice, looks better
    • My 1.5 year old device died in a shallow swim, and they sent me a brand new replacement one completely hassle free
    • Device worked well for a three months and then simply stopped working properly, refusing to sink with the smartphone application.
    • Counting price, the Garmin is my favorite of all the smart wrist devices I've owned.
    • failing).Anyway, I still think it's a good device, but I usually needed to coax it connect to my Galaxy S7 by turning on the GPS on the phone and turning off and then back on the phone's bluetooth
    • It is a good device when it works for swimming
    • Great device good quality, honestly though it isn't anything I couldn't live without
    • It is a really nice Device to use in any sport, it shows a lot information, Statistics HR, distance, and a accurate GPS.
    • Amazing device
    • so it isn't very helpful as the main device for monitoring heart.
    • Other dislikes (I could live with them if the device was collecting accurate data): - If you miss charging it, and it turns off, all apps you installed are lost
    • In all, even with the minor issues I mentioned above, I love this little device.
    • Excellent device
    • No skin irritation like I experienced with my now defunct Fitbit device
    • But if that's not important to you, than this is a perfect device for you!
    • screen brightnessperiodic lack of locking onto satellitessometimes squirrelly syncing with iPhoneI would, and have, recommended this device
    • I love the device and it has satisfied my gadget fetish.
    • I highly recommend this device
    • The only reason I am taking off 1 star is even though it is a more capable device, it lacks some cool things that the sport has like the stress meter and live heart rate in the app
    • Great tracking device
    • But, if what you want is solid activity tracking with GPS functions, on screen notifications from your phone, and great battery life (when GPS is not running), then this is a pretty solid device.
    • Very nice device, fits comfortably and meets all needs
    • The watch is a great fitness device.
    • I find this device to be a distraction
    • and I have today that it is the best fitness device that I have owned
    • I took a chance even after some reviewers mentioned that the device stopped working for them in short order
    • It may not have all of the bling that some of the more expensive devices have,
    • However as updates have occurred the device has gotten much worse to the point of being ineffective for measurement of HR.
    • The Moov is a good device if you want to go cheap and get good data, and even coaching
    • After lots of investigation this device had more of the features I wanted, although much more bulky than I preferred.
    • After all the smart wrist devices i have owned(Microsoft Band 2, Samsung Gear[multiple] Hauwei watch 2), this one takes the cake.
    • When the device works, its pretty good, however, it claims to be waterproof, but one step in the pool and it has to be restarted
    • I thing sincerily is the best personnel UPS Track, and sport smart device.
    • The device is not cheap so having it last for only 10 days has put me off the product
    • Device is fine, as expected more or less
    • Amazing device
    • The device itself works great.
    • Nice device, but completely dead after swimming.
    • If the new watch will work well, I highly recommend this device...
    • If the new watch will work well, I highly recommend this device...
    • Good device, but a little big.
    • Great device
    • If you are considering this watch, I highly recommend against purchasing this device.
    • This is the device for you if: you love to constantly lose your data because you have to fight with/reset the device on an almost weekly basis in order to get it to pair with your phone
    • This is a great device
    • The device is handsome
    • Device hangs or turns off a couple of times a week
    • Device is excellent
    • in mid feb 2018, less than 2 years later, the device completely stopped working
    • It's a great device in means of use for exercise
    • This device does not track blood pressure (duh), so don't think your device is crazy off after lifting a heavy set and only seeing a HR of 100
    • I could use the old defective device and upgrade to another watch model and get 20% off
    • maybe the one with accident coverage this time, since the device is more expensive
    • All in all this is an excellent device
    • Wore this through the Warrior Dash, swimming, and daily work - tough little device.
    • The is a awesome device, paired with my Note cellphone, and keeps my steps for my Go365.
    • Excellent price and device
    • Also, if you love it when the manufacturer puts out an update, which loads without you asking, which breaks your device so you have to again go through the resetting and fighting with the bluetooth routine
    • Excellent device that has done a terrific job of tracking steps, rides, swims in the pool and runs
    • Even worse, this device, as well as my Edge, are NEVER recognized by Mac computers - ever on the Garmin Connect website
    • On the plus side, if you are using the Pool Swim mode (sacrificing the overlay of heart rate data) this device is far more accurate at counting laps than my fitbit flex was, and if you turn the screen up to its highest brightness it is easy to see how many yards/meters you have completed while you are swimming.
    • It detects my bike speed using GPS well enough as far as I know.3
