Garmin vívoactive HR GPS Smart Watch, Regular fit - Black

    • The problem is that you can't manually edit your time / distance from the device OR the Garmin Connect site so tracking using the Garmin is completely useless.
    • But I love my Garmin.
    • I have to admit I'm jealous of the microphone, texting back, and the screen, but I love my Garmin
    • Like I said , loved my Garmin for the 6 months it worked but not enough for the aggravation.
    • Thank you Garmin.
    • I understand there are wrist devices with better selection of apps, but what Garmin has is fine for activity tracking
    • How incompetent is Garmin.
    • If Garmin made this a bit more sleek it would be a solid 5 star watch
    • Attempted to recharge, reset, everything Garmin suggests and nothing works.
    • You may have to buy two devices which I am sure Garmin has no issue with
    • Garmin was great and replaced the watch
    • Overtime, as I get used to this, Garmin better blow me out of the water because so far I am not too impressed.
    • She enjoys her Garmin
    • I really like the Garmin minus the fact that it messes up sometimes
    • My wife got a Garmin as well and we are now challenging for daily steps
    • Garmin needs to work on the heart rate and sleep patterns
    • Great Garmin watch
    • Garmin and Fitbit win here due to the battery life
    • Fortunately Garmin made this compatible with any ANT+ chest strap
    • I think Garmin is dead to me for a little while at least
    • Based on many reviews here Garmin seems unwilling to back their product and more often then will charge in excess of 100 bucks for a repair.
    • I love how it synchs with my phone and the Garmin App, easy and quick
    • (cf the Fenix, could have gotten the Fenix for the same price as the Apple Watch with a Sapphire watch face, open swimming and heartrate collection during the swim, but I am not that involved). The Garmin worked well, without a hitch.
    • Garmin won’t warranty it because it cracked.
    • I was now stuck with one dead Garmin watch and one with half the screen fixed and the other half jumping all over the place
    • important? The Fitbit wins on the social aspect, but the Garmin is the clear winner when it comes to what's built in and pedigree, GPS/Glonass, Garmin's connectivity with Strava, its ability to connect to my speed and cadence sensors (real plus!).
    • item never calculated the calories I burned correctly, I worked out for 35 min on an elliptical trainer, the resistance was set to 20 and the incline to 8, the garmin said I burned 200 cal the machine said I burned 505 cal
    • There are others available (not Garmin) but I haven't ventured out to explore them yet
    • entirely irrelevant…Garmin has terrible customer servicePretty disappointing since this device is supposed be used for tracking swimming
    • As soon as a viable competitor comes along I will no longer own these and will dump Garmin for good as the garbage company they are.
    • Garmin has been good about replacing my Vivoactive HR when is fails, but the product shouldn't fail this often and this quickly with fairly light use even though worn almost 24/7.The positives about Garmin/Vivoactive HR:1
    • Plugged the watch into a charger, watched as a very dim Garmin logo appeared and then the battery charging indicator appeared.
    • Absolutely the best Garmin!
    • Love my new garmin
    • I had the Fitbit and all I can say is the Garmin is way more accurate, more user-friendly, and alot more features
    • while I've never preferred the Garmin units I will certainly recommend against putting $20k of their electronics in a boat only to have them fall so short of what they said were its capabilities.
    • My husband really loves this Garmin!
    • She has an account at MyFitnessPal too, and Garmin automatically syncs with it, and sure enough, the daily exercises are updated there and show exactly what each exercise was and how much time, calories etc. were involved with each
    • I am enjoying this Garmin very much.
    • The data it provides is great for someone who wants to track their progress!!!Thank You Garmin!!!
    • Counting price, the Garmin is my favorite of all the smart wrist devices I've owned.
    • and Garmin can't make it work.
    • Love my Garmin!
    • Garmin will replace it when it fails, but will not compensate you for the purchase of a different model which does not have a defect.
    • We will not buy Garmin smart watches again, we'll go back to Fitbits where they actually have an e-mail alias they respond to and call you when they need more information.
    • Once again a very dim Garmin logo popped up followed by the battery charging indicator and it showed that is was still completely dead.
    • So this is big and major flaw of the entire activity tracker and it needs to be fixed by a software update, but apparently Garmin has been ignoring people's comments throughout user groups for the last 2 years.
    • My husband absolutely loves this Garmin
    • (I hope Garmin corrects this issue).I love all the apps that are created from Garmin and third-parties.
    • I had to charge my Apple Watch and the MS Band 2 every day because of the power going to the screen, and so far it looks like the Garmin will last for 5 days or so without a charge
    • Having used a few "smart watches" from pebble and various android wear based watches, as well as an older Garmin forerunner, and even older polar heart rate monitors, I guess I wasn't expecting anything too amazing from the vivoactive HR.It has surpassed my expectations in a lot of regards, simple to use, easy to configure, a decent number of applications etc
    • I love this garmin, only set back is that I have to remember charging
    • Garmin will not work with me on replacing the watch
    • Garmin is good about exchanging if under warranty but only for the same watch that keeps failing.
    • The Garmin doesn’t like it though
    • Save your money for a Forerunner if you like Garmin
    • It seems like Garmin could fix this with a software update.
    • I love my garmin.
    • Contacted Garmin support who offered to send me a new
    • I love my Garmin

    • After years of competitive running I became a loyal Garmin customer and I always used their GPS products.
    • Great job, Garmin

    • Garmin declined to help, other than offering a refurbished replacement unit at 45% of new price
    • Garmin missed a great opportunity here.
    • Many free watch faces and apps are available thru Garmin
    • I was so excited for this watch, because it's the first Garmin I've owned, and I've known many runners who love their Garmin
    • periodically she said there was nothing wrong with the product but should return it to amazon for exchange or I could purchase a new one with them (will take about 2 1/2 weeks) will not recommend this product not purchase a Garmin again because this has interfered with my training.
    • Garmin has good customer support and provided me with a refurbished watch in an efficient manner
    • The Garmin is much bulkier than the Blaze, and can be a bit obtrusive
    • a GARMIN CONNECT y es compatible
    • Like I said , loved my Garmin for the 6 months it worked but not enough for the aggravation.
    • My only complaint is the limited clock faces Garmin offers
    • The big problem, and by reading other reviews (I should have done so, before purchasing the Garmin) is the fact that the Garmin Connect Mobile App simple doesn't work
    • Love this garmin
    • We have three other, less expensive Garmin trackers that are over 3 years old and still are going strong
    • So I tried to call Garmin to complain about this and see if there was something to be fixed
    • Lets hope that Garmin have good customer support and that they sort this out.
    • I love my Garmin
    • Sorry Garmin, with this product you've let me down, on the other hand I do love my Garmin 800 for Cycling.
    • If Garmin makes the watch more comfortable, it will be easily a 5 star product, perhaps just making the bottom flat will solve the problem, but what is the point of having a great watch if you don't want to wear it?Update:
    • Garmin should recall this or issue a software update ASAP, or they will get ALL of them back
    • Great Garmin at a reasonable price
    • Garmin doesn’t do enough to advertise their OUTSTANDING app
    • Love this Garmin, my third different Garmin fitness watch, everyone has been better than the previous one I had, this has so many features, that at my age with arthritis, I'll never use them all, but love it.
    • Garmin has decided to restrict the VO2 max and recovery estimation features to its (much more expensive line of) running watches
    • defective Garmin watch I am presently using will have to be sent to
    • The best Garmin choice!
    • Garmin knows they break easily and they want to charge you $120 for a (REFURBISHED)replacement
    • Love my Garmin!
    • Garmin was kind enough to send me a replacement, but still, it was very disappointing after spending so much for a watch
    • I used to have a Fitbit Surge but after getting it replaced 3 times for defects and substandard materials I needed to try a better quality product and Garmin is definitely that
    • Garmin really need to work on their "other" activities algorithms.
    • Garmin is the clear winner here, if you're a little like me you realize the importance of gathering accurate data, it helps you spot areas of opportunities and improve
    • Garmin has been great about returning and replacing them, I'll give them credit.
    • Had to return know battery issue, device just died two weeks into owning it, garmin was willing to replace, said it was a known issue, but it would take up to 2 weeks to get another one, so returned defective to amazon and got the fenix3 instead.
    • Later, I was able to connect to Garmin Connect soft and to see my path I walked on Garmin maps
    • The garmin is awsome.
    • Thank you, Garmin for putting that theory to the test.
    • The more I read, the more the Garmin appealed to me
    • The best on the market today is Garmin.
    • I would suggest Garmin make the screen more robust in future versions.
    • On a more serious note, the GPS tracking is almost as good as my old garmin 610
    • I contacted Garmin and they're exchanging the watch, but very disappointed that it stopped working after one swim.
    • Neither Garmin or Assurant Warranty cover damage to the screen
    • Many other users on the Garmin forums who complained about this very issue where the tracker just dies after going swimming....
    • Love my garmin!
    • Garmin is truly awesome in so many ways, except for this watch and it's lighting.
    • The Garmin is amazing; long, long battery life, much easier to connect than the old fitbit
    • I really love the Garmin
    • So far, I love my Garmin
    • After some trial and error on my part, I was able to sync it to the calorie counting website/app that I use and my Garmin tells it how many calories I've burned
    • Garmin needs to work out some bugs
    • Garmin said I burned 600 cal, chest-strap put me at around 950
    • (Samsung made me download several different apps/services to work, and then wouldn't sync with Smashrun -- the Garmin is just easy
    • Garmin doesn’t fail.
    • The reason for the one-star review is quite simple: Garmin's support absolutely sucks
    • Garmin also has AMAZING i repeat AMAZING customer service and a great warranty
    • Sorry Garmin, with this product you've let me down, on the other hand I do love my Garmin 800 for Cycling.
    • I had a Polar M600, eventohugh it had more technology the Garmin is better
    • My beloved Garmin vivoactive HR just bit the dust after just over a year as a 24/7 fixture on my wrist
    • and it stopped working as if maybe some wear and
    • Ugly app interface on mobile as well as on the watch itselfInaccurate move data collectionCompletely dead and unusable after 1 year and 2 months period
    • The app and interface were not as clean as I was accustomed to from another company
    • ” it - lost a
    • I would only suggest you consider that the watch might not work as long as you think.
    • It detects my bike speed using GPS well enough as far as I know.3
