This tracks steps well and looks good too.

They also loose steps completely on some days

Very nice looking watch, tracks steps well, do not like how it does not illuminate at night

So it could count steps just fine but not transfer them to Garmin Connect

Pedometers are easy step-counters, but you have to calculate your stride with them, and they don't translate to other activities

Only the step counter and activity alert worked
