I would not use this if my guitar was very expensive, but for toting around an average axe, this is great for the money

so protection is somewhat limited, but it does do a nice job protecting your guitar from scratches and minor bumps.

It is a bit big for my 9 yr old son, however it protects the guitar.

It doesn't claim to cushion the guitar, but next time I might consider something that will protect my guitar when I'm setting it down.
