I bought one of the bubble hurricane things and when I switched from the sample of gazillion bubble solution that came with it to the cheaper stuff I had, the bubble volume dropped by about 75%.

Even when I follow the tips of others to get glycerine and add it to the cheap stuff, it was still very much diminished (and the glycerine was expensive!).
