GE 4-Device Universal Remote Control, Designer Series, Brushed Nickel/Silver, 33709

    • did finally get the right code from the hand book.
    • Setup was easy, first code worked with my tv
    • Used on a Westinghouse tv with correct code
    • I then went through the scanning procedures for the remote to find the code, and by doing it that way it found the correct code
    • Entered each code several times, no luck
    • Did all it claims but still may not have the exact code needed since it only accomplishes the basic tasks of on/off; channels; volume, and a few more but does not let me manipulate menu commands.
    • I used the Auto Search function to quickly find the correct code, and I can now navigate through the menus of the player
    • Only one code provided in the paperwork and it also did not work
    • First code work for all but one of my units
    • Only one code "worked", and by "work" I mean only the volume button works that's all
    • It comes already programed to a lot of Samsung TVs but it also has a handy code guide to get it paired to your specific TV brand/model
    • Dont bother trying to figure out which codes to use... there are several codes for each brand... just try the first code on the list
    • Just kept putting codes in until they worked, was super easy
    • have a TV/DVD combo older Toshiba.. worked on the TV but not on the DVD player.. they do have codes for combo TVs but apparently mine isn't one of them... used all the Toshiba codes but none worked with the built in DVD player
    • Remote kept telling me the code I entered was valid but the remote would then not work
    • I inputted all available codes for my model LN32C350 Samsung TV and none worked
    • I had to subtract one star because the paper for the direct code inputs is printed very small and I made a mistake by using the wrong code
    • I ended up looking online for my specific TV model and found the right code
