One of the worst things about this case is that the corners are not raised and do not protect the phone if it falls

One drop was from the dining room table onto my hardwood floor and it somehow landed on a corner and it cracked up the corner of the S8 glass.

While I love its beautiful design and the way the phone pairs with it for functionality, it didn't protect my phone from a fall and now the corner of my screen is cracked and crumbling
