Early on, I struggled to find guitar strings that I "liked" Not so much the brand, or anything, but what "felt" right when I was playing

Very long-lasting ; even when seemingly "dead" acoustically, they still sound good to guitar pickups, unlike some otherwise initally nice-sounding ones (I'm thinking gibson) which suddenly & catastropically "go dull" : one might as well play with rubber bands when that happens !!
