• Reviews around ryzen (3.56 of 5)

    GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-DS3H (AMD Ryzen AM4/ B350/ 4x DDR4/ HDMI/ M.2/ SATA/ USB 3.1 Gen 1/ / RGB Fusion/ Micro ATX/ Motherboard)

    • I bought this board because it claimed that it supported both Ryzen 7 2700X and Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD
    • (stick EXACTLY to the QVL - even then, can't get anything to run faster than 2133), shipped with old BIOS that does not support Ryzen 3 and 5 (had to be flashed using a different CPU, first), cannot install windows 7 without patching the BIOS for usb support, drivers do not support windows 8, included apps will not even run on windows 8 AT ALL, intermittent problems recognizing SSD as a boot drive, cheaply made (SATA port broke right off when removing a SATA cable), clunky and dated-looking BIOS with limited and poorly-explained options; I could go on but the point is spend a little more for a better board from a different brand.
    • Bought this motherboard to use with my new ryzen 7 2700x but it seems like ryzen supported and ryzen ready are two different things
    • Mine came ryzen 2 ready and It was easy to overclock everything worked and there was no flaws.
    • and it was ryzen 2000 ready
    • Using the Ryzen Master utility with this board and CPU combo was freakishly easy.
    • Was easily able to overclock Ryzen 5 1400 to 4Ghz no-problem
    • This one came out the box to support ryzen 2200/2400 Apu
    • The motherboard came in with a Ryzen 2000 ready sticker
    • This product does NOT support the Ryzen 5.
    • Came loaded with BIOS F22, which supports Ryzen 5 2000 series.
    • Came flashed with the F22 bios version which supports Ryzen 2
    • My only issue was that the two boards I bought shipped with earlier BIOS images that did not support my second generation Ryzen, which we had to update with another AM4 CPU, but got working in the end
    • the bios was updated to support ryzen
    • The Gugabyte AB350N Gaming motherboard claimed to support the new Ryzen 5
    • Mine was Ryzen 5 2400g ready
    • I was skeptical as I bought this board, but this board came with the "Ryzen ready" sticker
    • They neglected to mention that if you're using an AMD Ryzen 3 processor that the onboard video will not work.
    • Labeled Ryzen 2000 ready on the box
    • This board came with a sticker on the front (hidden under the package label) that said Ryzen 2000 Ready and sure enough it works
    • great Price and ryzen 5 2400g Works perfectly!...
    • Before buying this board and a processor and ram to go with it, I did my research and verified that an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 would work, and that HyperX 16Gb 2133 DDR4 kit was on the approved ram list
    • This board is the pickiest and most finicky Ryzen board I've built with
