The straw if flexible and collapses when the lid is closed and straightens when it opens, and so far seems to be a good quality

the lid doesn't leak or at least it hasn't with my trying it out by rolling it a round on the floor and letting my Toddler conduct her own "Toddler test" on it

The lid also opens at random times while carrying it by paracord due to push button on lid brushing or pressing up against me, or while water bottle is hanging on backpack with a clip since the latch on lid won't stay locked
