Good product-straw a little confusing.

I don't know if this occurs because the full mouthpiece is unable to fit thru the opening of the lid and therefore it somehow shifts on the straw itself when the lid is closed & putting pressure on it, if it's the materials used to make these 3 pieces (mouthpiece attached to top of straw, straw, or silicone piece at bottom of straw as you can see in review pics), or if I received a defective product, but it's terribly frustrating

Not sure if this was just a defective product or if others have experienced the same issue but the latch was very flimsy and broke after only a couple of weeks
