I chose the XXL wide mat because I liked the idea of placing a barrier between my mechanical keyboard and my wood desk and it has the added side effect of dampening some of the noise generated.

The small logo in the corner doesn't overwhelm the appearance of a nice black mat, and the stitched edges feel firm and well constructed.
