Great flute for my daughter, she is a beginner, and we wanted to start her off with a good quality flute

One thing that I am not happy about is that the hole on the mouthpiece is a bit smaller than usual and that it is not even centered on the mouthpiece which makes it a bit challenging to articulate and produce a great quality of sound

I'm not sure I would recommend it for a beginning band student, since I don't think it would hold up very well with a less careful student the quality isn't good enough to take them much past an early intermediate level.
