After playing this I had to put in God of War 3 and whoop on its awesome bosses, just to take out my frustration from them ruining such a great character and series

Definitely must play if you like sorta-open world sorta-RPG games with a great story and characters

Beautiful environment, exciting combat, great story/characters, meaningful side quests.

In some fights relying on him can be the difference between winning and losing, but I also feel that more could have been done to add to his characterization as he feels very one-dimensional as a character and despite the changes as the storyline progresses something still seems to be missing from him overall

I enjoyed every playable and non playable character

The combat system is smooth, the character development excellent and graphics superb.

I do think that by having many people (including myself) compare this game to The Last of Us, you might create expectations for what the story should be and while I personally don’t think that it is quite as good, it is still a beautiful journey from beginning to end that, while not featuring the greatest story or characters in a game, still features some of my favorite

They took a boring, bland, angry character and turned him into a deep, complex, sympathetic father

Last of Us with more awesome actions, and a slightly more broken and emotionally stunt main character.

The adventure itself was a nice change of pace from the previous games where the sole purpose was to kill gods rather than this game where you are trying to honor the memory of what it seems to be one of the most important characters in the game
