    • For the price, I don't feel these work much better range wise than other cheaper mid grade routers.
    • I set this up with a Netgear C6300-100NAS AC1750 router/modem (I use COX) disabling both 2.4 and 5ghz wifi on this device then attaching one google wifi point via an rj-45 (I did not disable router mode on the netgear) to the Netgear router.

    • and it is not working well and was a huge waste of money, better off buying a more expensive router with better range than what Comcast provides.
    • This is the greatest router I have ever owned
    • I have tried everything - repeaters - more expensive - higher power routers and nothing worked
    • If you have a good router in your home, maybe this product could be not exceeding the cover range in an expressive way, on the other hand, if you have a small router, this product is a good option
    • Used a good wireless router placed in the middle of the residence but never seemed to be enough to reach end to end.
    • It also has a modern, simple design so it looks good out in the open compared to a clunky router you feel ashamed of.
    • Inexpensive routers are fine for most people and in most situations, but we had a weak signal in certain areas and disconnects, and in 4 months - zero issues.
    • Just my terrible CenturyLink modem/router
    • Good but definitely not as good as Apple wireless router.
    • its slower then the cheapest router you can find online

    • Every other router I've had has been finicky to install and some required me to call my network admin friend for help
    • Best router ever!
    • devices.for strange reason directly configuring pppoe in google WiFi makes the wan throughput very slow 2-5 mbbs on 100 mbbs internet.but using a cheap netgear router for pppoe and to Google makes it to full 100 mbbs on wifi.

    • Overall I would definitely recommend this router
    • I do love these routers and look forward to a next generation
    • This was by far the EASIEST, most painless router I've ever installed

    • The best router ever

    • Best router you can buy.
    • Absolutely insane how much slower this router is
    • No matter how I oriented my previously fantastic router I couldn't sort satisfactory coverage inside and outside at the same time (no surpise, it's a lot of space to cover).

    • When multiple units are used in a home, the first unit works as the main router that connects to an internet source, like a broadband modem
    • Worst router ever, I am giving the 3 start just because its google, its has a nice design and the app is really cool and intuitive.
    • Excellent router!
    • Prior to this, I owned an ASUS, which was a fairly expensive, quality router, but there were definitely areas in the house where we were getting 20% the speed
    • My last router was just not powerful enough to pick up a clear signal in the kitchen where the radio is located.
    • That setup worked pretty well but there were dead spots and the primary router has been flaky since a recent power outage sometimes losing it's 'mind'

    • The router is extremely sleek, easily supports my 150 mbps download speeds, and was very easy to set up

    • Currently using the Netgear Nighthawk AC1250 that works great but router sits in the family room and the coverage in the living room 25 ft away falls to a single bar signal Wifi signal strength with 5G. This Google unit is a total waste of time
    • The one limitation is the routers only have two Ethernet ports and the one connected to the modem will only have one extra
    • Best router ever.
    • My router was broken and this was a major upgrade
    • While an Airport Extreme is an excellent router, it lacks in the area of communicating well with other routers and allowing devices to switch between those routers easily.

    • Overall, they are great WiFi routers.

    • +Good quality flawless +Family filter -Expensive (comparing that I got free routers from the -Don't let you block specific web site -Did not automatically switch from one router to another (have to do it manually) - Would like to have 'general user' vs. 'power user' mode so those who want to do more can play with advance settings
    • Our previous router was always failing.
    • I was using a good self-provided modem, an AirPort Extreme (as a router) and a second AirPort unit on the network (in bridge mode) to boost the signal upstairs
    • I love that it is slender, but still packs all the best features of the beefier, more expensive, routers.
    • but it's still fast enough to, say, play HD Netflix, so I really feel like having "the fastest" router is not very important for the majority of people
    • There even seems to be less interference when running the microwave - something that would knock out my other routers
    • A very nice-looking router
    • No running cords, no tacky router equipment sitting on the console.
    • No matter how good the router was it was no match for the wall
    • Finally, FINALLY, a rock solid router that also happens to extend the network without being an unreliable regretful purchase.
    • I owned another mesh capable router, the Portal, and really liked it when it was just a single device
    • The best router I have ever owned
    • You are getting this expecting the advantages that come with a mesh network, so go with a mesh network 100%, get rid of your old outmoded router and go all mesh system
    • My previous wifi router was the Apple Airport Extreme which I was told was the best router available at the time.
    • The router looks clean and looks like a piece of decoration vs a typical electronic

    • Best router we have ever had!
    • The easiest router to set up
    • Great router best I have ever used
    • The Mesh is working as a router, DHCP server and doing
    • If you’re doing mesh and you have an existing router/gateway that you like and want to keep, you’re stuck with double NAT
    • Pros: the router works as stated and Wi-Fi coverage is great
    • We have a long hallway to the bedrooms that we never had a good WiFi signal in, even with a good router and an access point / extender
    • Extremely impressed with this wifi system, wireless speeds are upwards of 100+ whereas the previous router I had in place we were only seeing 50, well worth the buy.
    • This router was recommended to me by my friend who is computer engineer for entire board of ed in NYC.I have never seen easier setup router then this Google product
    • Easiest router setup ever by a factor of hours.
    • I hated the router I had, and the extenders barely got a weak signal down to the ground floor of the house
    • Admittedly our previous router was probably somewhat to blame, but after installing this system (which was very easy to do), there aren’t any dead spots in the entire house (basement included) and our wireless speeds are now 120-130 mbps
    • Someone mentioned that conventional routers allow switching channel numbers to work around interference but this is not an option with the Google Mesh technology.
    • Bad router
    • Over all it's perfect WiFi router for my entire house
    • Also the fact that you can only access the router setting via Google Wifi app is also quite annoying.
    • The coverage is naturally wider/further than other more expensive routers
    • This router has stopped working after running okay for a while
    • I plugged the first Google Pod into the Quantum routers top ethernet slot and BAM, the app sensed the Google Pod and asked for me to create a new network name to be used by the Google Wifi mesh system

    • I love this router
    • I've tried to use fancy beamforming routers and repeaters to get a decent signal across my house
    • Easiest router ever to configure
    • Absolutely SUPERB router!
    • My current router worked well and I live in a small, 1500 sq foot house and decided to get the Google system to try it out
    • received and works as expected, no fun to have to reset all devices to a new wifi, but, in the long run it was worth the change as this router is far superior to the one I had which was only a year old.
    • I tried hooking my old netgear for smart devices and that router was miserable (besides it’s irritating humming sound) and N300 sometimes used to drop connection
    • Google WiFi did a great job at providing a strong signal throughout my home (3 floors) however the speed outside of my living room where the main router was were terrible
    • Great Router, sleak design and perfect user experience
    • Beware, these routers are missing key functionality for power users such as:- Ability to define a DMZ- No static

    • This is by far the best router I have used

    • 30/10 dowload/upload speeds vs the free router that comes with spectrum, 159/10

    • Eventually I brought the second router upstairs, losing critical coverage closer to my back door where security devices will be set up.
    • Super reliable router and drastically improved WiFi performance where I installed it.
    • Setup was easy, and I appreciate that the router uses the same network name for both bands, with the device and the router's band-steering feature working together to select the best band
