By the time you escalate to this kind of tape, you've decided "holding" is more important than preserving the finish, and you can proceed accordingly

It seems to stick to most solid surfaces & holds well

It still pulls away from itself very clean, not like the competitors, so if you want the best hold and the least residual junk, this is for you

Around the houses, I use it to reinforce things like cardboard boxes I've overloaded or plastic bags that have been overloaded, I reinforce with Gorilla Tape...great hold

Very strong & holds well for long periods of time under extreme abuse

Sometimes the bad comes with broken parts, or pieces and in my case a broken Air Intake Elbow on my 1995 Toyota 4Runner which wouldn't allow me to drive or do anything without proper pressure held

For applications where you need a very strong tape that will stay strong (such as holding two pieces of metal or plastic firm), I would recommend aluminum tape.

what you really want is a super strong hold, then get gorilla tape and leave the duck behind.

The tape is thicker than standard Duct tape and the hold is even stronger.

Know how duct and other icky industrial tapes always, ALWAYS need to be "re-taped" with something smooth on the edges if you don't want the cheap-o threads full of stinky slimy adhesive to smear that stuff eventually everywhere
