First, when the sensor is placed outside it trips itself for no reason causing false alarms

Limiting the view angle works OK for me, because it cuts way down on false alarms, and I only need it looking directly across the driveway at one point anyway

They have not given false alarms the first night and the alarm is super loud (accidentally probably woke the neighborhood up testing the sensors) but can be turned down multiple times.

These are super sensitive so be prepared for several false alarms, our house sits on a major highway and I think it frequently picks up on the semi trucks that drive past our house

Cannot recommend this driveway alarm

I like how sensitive this alarm really is

That way if I dont hear the doorbell or am too busy to get the package in person, I have a funky alarm (this thing has many, many different chimes/sounds/songs) to remind me to go pick it up before some shady character steals it, which is all too common where I live.

I was getting several false alarms an hour.
