Ended up unscrewing it and removing the sticky material

now i have a $14 Rattle Box!should at least come with a spare sticky material..

Works fairly well at first, but the sticky material has begun to get jammed in the opening and make it difficult to open and close

Once i opened it, the sticky material was sticking to the inside, so it didn't open or close well
